Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33):  The Post 9/11 GI Bill will go into effect on August 1, 2009.   To apply you must send a VA Form 22-1990 to the VA via fax or mail.  DO SEND DOCUMENTS TO THE VA PRIOR TO MAY 1, 2009.  The fax number to the VA RPO in Oklahoma is 1-918-781-7863.  The form can be found at VA Form 22-1990 .  For more information go to U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.

Reminder: All veterans and dependents receiving VA Educational Assistance must complete a WSU VA Supplemental Application prior to the start each Fall Semester or prior to the start of Summer Session. To access the form go to WSU Office of Veterans Affairs. The Supplemental Application informs the WSU VA Office that you wish to use your GI Bill benefits for the school year. Failure to submit this form will delay receipt of your monthly GI Bill payments.
